Baclofen helps some, neurontin seems to help very litte, walking neither feels helpful nor hurtful, and heat...well HEAT seems to be the best source of comfort right now. And "they" say heat is the source of most distress for MSers! Naysayers...
So, I'm off to soak AGAIN in a warm bath before bedtime and try to draw my tight legs up under me for a night's sleep (notice I left out "good" before night's sleep?!?)...maybe the MS Fairy will unwind my legs by morning and I will hop out of bed like a spring chicken?
Yeah, I'm laughing at the unlikelihood of THAT happening, too...

hey ya never know . . . I hope you had a GOOD nights sleep!!
Well, I can't really help you with the tightness in your legs. But in the words of Bob Dylan:
Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin' ship,
My senses have been stripped, my hands can't feel to grip,
My toes too numb to step, wait only for my boot heels
To be wanderin'.
I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fade
Into my own parade, cast your dancing spell my way,
I promise to go under it.
Of course, he wasn't talking about baclofen, but still. You seemed to want a Bob Dylan reference and this seemed to fit! :D
Linda, I so hope you’re feeling better….Common girl, you know you have spunk !!! ( remember Mary Tyler Moore and her Midwestern spunk ??...I know, I watched too much TV! LOL)
Heat helps me (lucky for me since I live on the surface of the sun) and cold makes me spasm. I'm always one to buck the trend!

Thank you for the "good" additive to "night's sleep"...oddly, I forgot to take my bedtime medications and didn't sleep HALF BAD!!! Western medicine...just sucks, I say...LOL

MISS CHRIS:
Yes, you'd probably be a walking SPASM up here in the maritime Northwest! I bet our 80 degree heat we're suppose to have tomorrow would FREEZE you out! (And I'll be bubbling like a piece of bacon in the frying pan).

Linda, That tightness in your legs. Is it almost like having stood on your toes too long?
Just wondering because that's what my legs feel like much of the time. Which is why you find me awake (if not alert) when you get online. LOL!
Hope you've slept well!
PEEJ:
Sort of...it's like my legs have mysteriously tightened in the calves like a wound rubber band...and to step down just pulls the HELL out of them! Once I can get moving, it seems to lessen somewhat, but then my legs tend to ache if I am standing too long.
I sound like an old lady talking about her "stools" now, don't I?!?
