I have never noticed cognition problems until an attack i had last year but now it feels like i have been hit on the head with a brick sometimes. I can see the difference as i am learning hand-controlled driving--will have to limit driving for sure and not be out there when i am tired. People will not acknowledge there is such a thing--they just shrug and say "well, we are all getting old-it is all in your imagination" It is so obvious to me when my words are slurring into one another!

I think the "well, you're just getting old" or the "Oh, I forget things all the time, too" comments should be stricken from the English language! Cognitive decline IS a fact of aging...but I don't see a bunch of "old people" out there in their 40's and 50's complaining of the same issues as those of us with MS at that age...

Certainly you are welcome to put any of my crude attempts at infommercials on your podcast...they're all loaded up for free retrieval on AOL UNCUT VIDEOS. The "themes" are just common issues of MS, the "tool(s)" is a very basic program called "ShowBiz", and the time...well, that comes from having no social life or other valuable entertainment! It's sad really...LOL
