I had PLANS to be out and about today...errands to run, shopping, groceries, mail to fetch. But, our ever-changing maritime weather has landed me safe and sound at home today...Sitting strangely content in paint fumes!!
Here's a little Seattle Weather video I threw together this morning (since I won't be going out driving with errands today!) of some shots around my city and my "hood"...enjoy. And for those of you sitting under your TYPICAL 6 feet of snow, I say this: YOU AT LEAST HAVE SNOW PLOWS, STUDDED TIRES, AND PEOPLE WHO ARE USED TO DRIVING IN WINTER CONDITIONS!!! Leave it...and laugh at my "trauma"...LOL...

I'll have to share the pictures of the kids snow-men with you ... you know, commiserate about all this damn global warming.
LOL, That's what we call "just a dusting"!
MDMHVONPA:
He's BAAACK! Good to see you again, my friend (wait! Does that sound too much like John McCain?!?)
I'd love to see the twins in the snow...which I'm sure you have far more of than I do...twins AND snow!

CALLIE:
Yeah, yeah...I whine, therefore I am! LOL

All I can say is "Brrrrrr"!!!!! And I'm complaining that we didn't quite hit 60???
I just hope it snows enough tonight that I can take a snow day! I'm ready to hang with the kids... :)
You didn't mention our small earthquake in Seattle. With MS, hard to tell if it is earthquake or just me. They say the area of "THE BIG ONE" was just shifting a tad...but in an area thought to be "stuck," seriously, had I know Seattle was sitting on a fault...I'd be back in Michigan.
glad to see you're using your time wisely & not attempting to drive in all that crap - we had sun & temps in the low 40s today :)
I'm with Callie, that is just a dusting. We might have a snowday tomorrow but mostly because of the ice & winds. CRAZY weather!
Driving conditions are rough when it rains in my city. When or if it snows the streets are like a crash derby event.
MISS CHRIS:
It's all relative, relatively speaking...one person's cold is another person's heat wave. Stay warm in that desert!

STEVE:
Sorry there, buddy...looks like you'll have to move to Lynnwood for more of THAT weather! You're just too far south...

DIANE:
No matter where we live, the "big one" is always coming...whether it is a tornado, hurricane, earth quake, tsunami, or plain old heart attack! At least when the big one comes here, I'll be in a beautiful place to die! LOL

SARA:
Funny thing was, after about 4 hours of the snow being ON the ground, it melted right back to nothing! Not even worthy of being called "snow fall" really.

SHARON:
Yeah, yeah...you there in the WINDY CITY! I bet YOU even own a snow shovel?!?
LD
BLINDERS OFF:
I remember that same problem in Houston...God forbid it would get icy once in a while! Then, absolutely NO ONE could drive...
