Old Testament Relived...

Somebody get me Noah on the phone! I need to consult about an ark...I'm also not too sure what a cubit is, but I think it's around 45 centimeters. LOL

The good news? The snow is melted and gone (it's almost 60 degrees outside today)...it's been replaced by what we call here in the Northwest a "Pineapple Express". (Or the snow was just the beginning of it anyway.) We are being drenched now with rain...my rain gauge overflowed sometime in the morning at 5 inches. That would be FIVE INCHES in less than 24 hours. Roads are now closing, rivers are jumping their banks, basements are flooding, and...well, you get the picture.

And I am getting ready to swim my way into work...this should be a "fun" afternoon/evening (I say with tongue in cheek!)...

**And for those of you getting blanketed in the Northeast by feet of snow fall, all I can say is stay warm!**

Seattle with a dusting of snow looked so pretty! I am sorry it has all melted. The snowstorm in the Northeast has made things beautiful here if you don't have to drive! Glad Meha is warm again.

Both our areas made national news tonight as disaster zones. Wonder if you even made it to work with all the flooding.

Now I can't tell my otherly state pals/family that it only mists here. I actually had the thought that I SHOULD start the ARK up.
Haven't seen such puddles since Indiana. Back there we had to keep sand bags ready. Glad you know how to swim. POD must be pretty PO by now. LOL

Saw Seattle on the morning news today. Ewwww such a mess, flooding, mudslides, wind...I'm not envious of you today. Safe journey to work today.

Last year, when this happened, your sewer line got backed up. Mmmm ... looking forward to that again?

Snow is just starting here in Upstate New York. Soft, fluffy flakes, to fool us into thinking it will simply be pretty...

pa, you will enjoy hearing what I heard on TV news this morning, "Crow butt sewage overflowing into Alder Creek."
Yes, THAT is what we in Seattle area are dealing with. BrainCheese, stay away from 1.Crows and 2. Alder Creek (wherever that is)

So I just realized, after reading mdmhvonpa's comment, that I've been reading your blog for more than a year! Cuz I remember that sewer fiasco! Good grief!

We didn't get any snow down here in PDX, but the rain! OH THE RAIN! SO much rain...

I hope you're staying dry up there - at least to the extent possible. Lots of crazy flooding going on. :(
