SUV's SUCK!...

Had a near head on collision today with a MONSTER LINCOLN NAVIGATOR that nearly climbed over the top of my tiny Honda Civic hood...I'm relatively OK (no gashes, broken bones, head injury) and quite thankful to be so. My beautiful-in-near-excellent-condition "Luna" (silver car) is most likely totaled, however. Can't go into details of the accident (just in case insurance companies TROLL blogs for these things! LOL), but suffice it to say, IT WAS NOT MY FAULT and I am NOT THE ONE WHO RECEIVED THE POLICE OFFICER'S CITATION...that award went to the "other" driver. My "award" will most likely be the after effects of whiplash/possible MS trigger, being without transportation until insurance companies shake hands, and quite possibly having to buy a new car.

If this wasn't my fault, why am I the one feeling like I will be suffering the worst damages? Effing SUV's...

Funny, it looks like the picture is showing EUROPEAN SUVs ... the steering wheel in on the right! You must have been creamed by one of them durned Euro-weenies driving on the wrong side!

With you award money, buy a Bradley Fighting A1 with extra anti-ballistic armor plating. ( I hear they have a nuclear power plant in 'em so NO GAS!)

F*!@king SUV's is right. I remember my red Honda Civic fondly. Glad you didn't land in hospital and hope the insurance doesn't take too long to get you into a new car.

Who would ever want a Lincoln SUV? Such an ugly excess...hope the effects of your whiplash are mild and the effects of the stress of it all are also...really sorry to hear this has happened to you.

First of all, I'm glad you're okay. Second of all, talk about bad luck! Now your whole life will be inconvenienced and in the hands of some insurance companies. Argh!

Ohhh! Ouch! So sorry, but happy to hear that only your car was mangled and not your body. Hope the after effects from the jostling you took will be minor. I used to drive a little Mazda until I was totaled by a big Lincoln. The Lincoln had only a scratch on it's bumper! I hate to admit I now drive a guzzler that puts me on almost equal footing with the other road monsters. It was Dad's and it's paid for and will do for now, and keep me relatively safe from the geriatric snow birds in their monster cars.

Owie! Owie! Owie! You have been going through a LOT lately so I'll send good thoughts to Seattle in hopes that you'll hold up through this mess.

Sorry to hear about your accident and your lack of wheels for awhile.

No car rental on your insurance? Does the other guy have it?

Get a notebook and start keeping a running log starting with date and time of accident. I'm not saying your MS will kick in, but brain fog is a frequent visitor to us MSers. You'll be glad to have it to refer to in a few months.

I hope you can get a rental and I very much hope your MS doesn't act up. Take care, Anne

PS This is not YOUR day for me to stop by, but I was just doing a drive by to my A to E's. LOL
