My Deodorant Is Suffering From Agnosia...

...it no longer recognizes my underarms! (Agnosia - neurological disorder resulting in the inability to recognize objects, shapes, sounds, smells, etc.)

Yeah, so it's been a few days since I *cleaned up*...whatever. I've been ill. But hope is on the horizon...my loverly ARNP started me on a course of prophylactic antibiotics (not the condom kind) today and I am going to try to go back into work Tuesday. We both decided "whatever" type of influenza I have been wrestling with isn't important...what's important is that I RECOVER.

Between the antibiotics, prednisone (for lung inflammation), and an albuterol inhaler, no one should even notice I'm still croaking like a frog and look like hammered sh!+. But hey, my UNDERARMS do smell better...

**I also suffer from agnosia...I don't even recognize that is NOT me in that picture**

I sure hope you feel better soon. This has been going on for far too long. I hope that whatever your ARNP gave you does the trick. Oh, and a nice warm bath should help make you feel better too, followed by a Hot Cup of TEA - Peppermint perhaps?

Sadly, my little sister's deodorant failed yesterday while we were moving some heavy things and I thought I was gonna pass out. Talk about a sweaty, greasy, onion factory smell! I don't care to smell that again. Sorry, I got lost in one detail of your post and had to comment about something NO ONE wants to know.

I have to change deodorants every so often. It's like my body realizes that I'm trying to tamp down the stench and becomes immune to the stuff!

I hope you get better real soon!

BTW-stop by my blog-there is an award waiting for you!

Funny, but that's how I always pictured you.....applying deodorant...not the blonde hair though.

I really, really hope the first thing you did when you went to work today was to greet your boss, and sneeze in his/her direction, a handshake would have been good, too. Spread the love.
